The ongoing effects of long COVID-19 continue to challenge millions of individuals worldwide, with one of the most common issues being balance problems. Many patients report relying on their vision for stability, leading to blurred vision and unsteadiness while walking. TeleRehaB DSS is dedicated to addressing these issues with an innovative rehabilitation approach, combining Augmented Reality (AR), exergames, cognitive training, and remote patient monitoring.
As part of our ongoing efforts to improve rehabilitation for long COVID-19 patients, we are conducting a focus group to gather feedback from those who have lived with long COVID-19. This feedback will directly influence the materials and protocols for an upcoming clinical trial that will evaluate the effectiveness of our rehabilitation technology.
What Does the Focus Group Involve?
The focus group will be conducted online, in an informal setting, and will last approximately 90 minutes. During this session, we will present the TeleRehaB DSS technology and ask participants to provide feedback on key study materials, including:
- Recruitment posters
- Clinical trial protocols
- Exercise interventions
- Use of technical equipment
Your feedback will help us ensure that the materials are appropriate and accessible for patients with long COVID-19. Your insights will be invaluable in refining the study and shaping the future of balance rehabilitation.
Why Your Participation Matters
If you’re aged between 40 and 80 and have experienced long COVID-19, your perspective is crucial. This focus group provides an opportunity to directly influence the development of rehabilitation technology and clinical trial protocols. Your feedback will help ensure that the study is both relevant and supportive for individuals experiencing long COVID-19.
Confidentiality and Compensation
Your participation is entirely voluntary, and all feedback will be confidential. In appreciation for your time, participants will receive £30, either via bank transfer or a voucher.
